Videogames have been including tracks from established artists ever since we first tuned into a GTA radio station, but Run the Jewels' latest might have taken it to the next stage of meta.
With No Save Point, a single from the soundtrack for upcoming console/PC title Cyberpunk 2077, RTJ (or, rather, in-game personas Yankee and the Brave), find themselves inside the a futuristic world, commenting on the dystopia and, in a too-many-levels-of-reference moment, mentioning Keanu Reeves who plays a character within the RPG. Phew.
Expretly directed by Lord Danger's Mike Diva, who crams it with so much cyberpunk imagery you might have thought you'd fallen into a William Gibson anthology, this neon-lit vid is a heavy hitter.
