Other than affecting the clothes we might choose to wear, for many, the weather forecast has little impact on the running of our daily lives...

This subtle yet hard-hitting series of spots, patiently-paced by Bacon director Emilie Norenberg and made by Anorak for NGO Save The Children, puts a poignant twist on the functions of a weather app to show the impact of changing weather conditions on families fleeing Afghanistan and Syria.

While forecasts usually factor in things like humidity and wind to estimate what the temperature will feel like, the films show several other physical and psychological elements contribute to cold days feeling even colder for children affected by conflict.
