A new production company has launched in London and is already attracting the attention of the global advertising industry with its modern approach to production and impressive roster of directors. Scenester Films is the creation of Tim Marshall, a producer who has been behind many notable commercial campaigns over the last decade.

His work has received recognition at awards such as The Kinsale Sharks, Cannes Lions and Creative Circle and the recent launch film that he produced for The Face, alongside director Dan Emmerson at Somesuch, won the Gold Arrow for Branded Content at the 2020 British Arrows.

But after many successful years working as a freelance producer with some of the biggest brands and agencies in the business, Marshall has launched Scenester in order to tackle the unique demands of the modern advertising industry.

Commenting on the launch, Marshall said: “I really wanted to start a production company that was geared towards handling the demands of the modern world of advertising. There are so many different platforms out there now and there’s an ever-growing appetite for all different types of content.”

“At Scenester, we have built a directing roster that is robust enough to take on the biggest TVC campaigns but also flexible enough to handle the kind of smaller-budget online work that we are now starting to see more and more of.”

He continued: “In my career I’ve always placed a great deal of importance on a having a can-do attitude when it comes to production. Being flexible and pro-active always yields the best results and I really want to instill this sense of flexibility and positivity at Scenester.”

“We have a really talented and exciting set of directors from a diverse range of backgrounds, all working across a broad range of genres and film-making styles. The future looks bright and I can’t wait to get started!”
