The Financial Times has released a new brand film that celebrates the slogan on the newspaper's original masthead.
Created in 1888 The Financial Times' mantra of 'without fear and without favour' has underpinned it's journalism for more than 130 yer
Created by Orange Panther Collective, animation studio H5, which is represented by Partizan Studio, and projection specialists Pixel Artworks, the 80-second animation shows how the words underline the role of the press in a functioning democracy. The film was also projected onto London's County Hall, across the Thames from Westminster, on the eve of the UN’s International Day of Democracy.
”The Financial Times is a bastion of integrity and unbiased reporting,:" said Orange Panther Collective Co-Founder Simon Hewitt. "We felt it was important to remind both existing FT fans and hopefully a new swathe of FT readers how that integrity has been baked into its DNA since its inception, and will never wane.”
