The wrong end of the stick

Continuing adam&eveDDB’s creative campaign about how dogs don’t know what’s good for them, this spot follows up on the brand's animated holiday spot, Snowman, directed by Jeff Low. 

Another iteration on how things can go horribly wrong when a daft mutt fails to leave a good stick alone, Stick, directed by The Bobbsey Twins through Blink, tells the tale of a castaway trying to get off a deserted island. 

Using a bunch of sticks to spell out “HELP”, the castaway is distraught when his furry friend gleefully removes part of the lettering, resulting in a passing aeroplane misunderstanding his missive – thus scuppering all hopes of rescue. 

Downcast but forgiving, the man sits down and hands the pup a Greenies treat, with the message being, ‘something better for your dog to chew on’.
