Ergh, the hassle of cancelling a service over the phone has only gotten worse in the age of robotic messages, canny codewords and relentless counter-offers.
However, imagine how much worse it would be if the service provider utilised all of the information they had on you to rebuff your pleas...
Taking this dark concept and, somehow, making a genuinely funny film out of it is 10 Days London and writer/director Jolyon White, whose short, Like I Said, offers a relatable (and therefore horrifying) slice of modern life.
Anchored by a pair of terrific performances, the film's strong script and tonal whiplash has led to it picking up 16 awards to date, including best short at Paris Film Festival, best short script at the UK Film Festival and a nomination for the BAFTA-qualifying Bolton International Film Festival.
