On the heels of the unprecedented success of its “Diner” spot that received more than 13 million views on YouTube, the community has created another music video parody spot for Verizon that showcases the ease and affordable plans available with Verizon Prepaid.

The spot directed by Jonathan Augustavo is targeting a cross-cultural audience in the U.S., the spot is running in English and Spanish on digital and social media platforms, as well as on Spanish-language broadcast and cable TV. “Laundry Shop” shows a girl asking “got any good gift ideas?” with her boyfriend then breaking out into song and dance saying “Verizon Prepaid is gonna be my gift.” The boyfriend continues to sing about the benefits of gifting someone with Verizon Prepaid, and includes others in the laundromat in the song and dance. The song ends with him saying “no to matching sweaters, that’s enough pajamas” with the chorus chiming in: “with Verizon you look awesome.”
