Up from the depths.
Thirty stories high.
Eating tofu!
HER HEAD IN THE SKY!

Baring a striking resemblance to a certain giant Japanese kaiju, Vegamama is here to smash some buildings, cause some chaos and... go vegan?

Celebrating wagamama becoming the UK’s first high street restaurant to make 50% of its menu plant-based, Uncommon and Riff Raff have teamed up to create a delightful ad introducing the gigantic troublemaker, and have packed it with sly cinematic references.

Star of the show is Vegamama herself - a brilliantly conceived rendition that is adorably close to a child's rendering of the traditional Gojira. To achieve the effect, the design was concepted in Photoshop, modelled in 3D and clay, before being brought to life using foam, latex, and sophisticated animatronics, giving her the ability to move her face and eyes.

Compounded with some amazing comedic touches (the zooms, the rocket hand, the off-tune flute, "OK"), all smartly achieved by director Vedran Rupic, this monstrous hit is a smashing success.
