Wearing a mask has proven to be an easy and important way to stem the spread of the coronavirus, yet many New Yorkers still aren’t doing it.
This seems especially true of younger people who may feel less susceptible to Covid-19, but Ogilvy Health New York and Chimney Group director Sam O'Hare may have found a way to get them to pay attention to this potentially life-saving message: Don’t preach. Don’t fear-monger. Instead, make them smile by tapping into pop culture.
And so we have Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees starring in this spot as he meanders through New York scaring the locals in his hockey mask, until one young resident helps him out.
