With an ordinary answer to an extraordinary question, What Kind of Millionaire Would You Be? looks at what we really want, and who we want to share it with.
A group of friends sits at a lake. They chat candidly, asking each other “what would you do with 130 million euros?” One would go to the moon, one would buy a home for her mother, another would spend it breeding a new flower for his fiancee. The last man to answer says that he would share it - just before revealing a receipt that shows the winning numbers.
What Kind of Millionaire Would You Be? is wonderfully shot - soft and cinematic, expertly crafted by Grand Bazar. The writing is natural and the acting only elevates the sentimental nature of the short. Romance Paris has focused on the new values of the current generation, the way that people see and view money as a means to an end rather than the goal itself. Director Katia Lewkowicz focuses on emotion and performance, telling a simple, touching story without anything unnecessary.
