To celebrate the opening of its new San Francisco store, Japanese brand UNIQLO has turned to YouTube sensation Maru the cat to launch its latest interactive online game that will dish out free prizes to consumers over the next few weeks.

Once users have connected through their Facebook accounts, Maru enters on-screen as the game starts and before long, the cat - famed for his love of boxes - has delved into a lucky cube and picked a prize (we won a secret recipe from Mission Chinese food chef Danny Bowien).

Once a prze has been won, winners can pick them up at the UNIQLO pop-up experience on 15-16 September and also post the news to their Facebook wall.

Lucky Cube is the latest in a string of fun interactive games from the brand, including 2010's Lucky Machine pinball offering. The new flagship store is set to open in Union Square, San Francisco on 10 October 2012. So what are you waiting for? Go and pick up a prize.
