Forget about Michael Fish; there’s a new man in town and he’s here to give you a weather report like you’ve never seen. Fresh out of Wieden + Kennedy New York, the new interactive campaign – an extension of the agency’s hit spot for the Whatever’s Comfortable push and produced by Rabbit Content – is currently engaging fans across the globe with unique video updates for their respective places in the world.
Log in with your birthday at the dedicated site and you’ll be confronted by The Comfortable Weather Guy who, once you’ve selected your location, will appear in the particular surroundings with different weather conditions dependent on the place.
But if you think there’s a chance of him adding layers to his skimpy bathing suit, you clearly didn’t connect with the character enough in last year’s hit spot. The point is, he’s comfortable – whatever! So whether you’re currently freezing in the face of the cold snap in London, or scraping ice off your car in France, he’ll be there in his speedos to defy the elements.
The site is accessible via mobile and tablet, and is a unified experience across all platforms. You can make the weather site accessible on your desktop or add it to your home screen on your iPhone so you’ll never be caught by the conditions outside.
You can also sign up for weather alerts and you have your local weather delivered by the man in the pants every day and the site will pick up your location.
Check out the brilliantly simple teaser video above and get a report on where you are here.
