Samsung GALAXY S4: Hi Hey Hello

Walking the line between stalker and sweet, this modern love story is helped along by the versatile Samsung Galaxy S4.

This musical short film by Leo Burnett tells a modern love story through the technology of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Chicharones’ music video, Hi Hey Hello, is set on UCLA’s campus, where the main character uses all the new features of the Samsung Galaxy S4 in pursuit of his dream girl.

The goal of the video, directed by Joseph Kahn, is to further introduce consumers to the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone by dispersing its features Air View, Dual Shot, Group Play, Drama Shot and Sound & Shot throughout the film. 

The main character uses the Air View feature to read his messages from the shower without getting the phone wet and the Dual Shot to, rather creepily, photograph himself and his crush during class. The video ends classically with a large group of students using the Group Play feature to share and amplify Hi Hey Hello into the window of the main character as he says goodnight over his Galaxy S4.
