shots issue 144 is due to hit desks later this month with a special focus on China and its creative output. If this new piece of work from BBH China, Joseph Kahn and The Mill is anything to go by, Chinese creativity is in pretty good shape.

By bringing the legendary Bruce Lee 'back to life' for their Gamechangers campaign, the team has created an amazingly realistic piece of film that once again pushes the boundaries of what CGI can do.

The campaign focuses on the more exclusive Blue label and celebrates ‘Gamechangers’, an elite who have achieved greatness in their own field.  A gamechanger ahead of his time, Bruce Lee embodies the Keep Walking spirit as an example of someone who trusted his intuition, leading him to pursue his ideas and dreams with conviction.

The Mill's team was headed up by 2D lead artist Andy Dill and 3D lead artists Sam Driscoll and Francois Roisin, lead modeller, Dan Moore and lead animator, Carlos Fraiha. The company worked very closely with BBH ECD Johnny Tan from the outset and began by all sitting down and reviewing hours and hours of Bruce's archive footage, pulling out as many images from as many different angles as possible with each new angle bringing the team closer to the most realistic 3D face.
