London-based production company Habana has marked the launch of its new animation department with a raft of new signings bolstering the cause. Joining the company is Swedish directing duo Hannes & Johannes, 2D character animator Ben Pearce and animator Steve Cutts.
Hannes & Johannes produce a unique and bizarre style of chaotic animation that has previously been used for several music promos for the band Team Spirit. Pearce specialises in 2D animation and has worked on projects for brands including Google, adidas and Toyota. Cutts’ work has been featured on various television channels throughout the world, including the Adult Swim network and Channel 4.
