NBC Sports: The Return of Coach Lasso

Last season, we were introduced to Ted Lasso, a Texas-born football wannabe lucky enough to find himself in the coaching seat at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (for the sake of NBC's campaign to promote its Premier League coverage).

A clumsy, albeit hilariously animated, character seeking success in the English game, Lasso has since moved on having lasted only six and a half hours at the club, which has gained a laughable reputation for cutting ties with its managers in the last decade.

In this new branded web film for the broadcaster, however, Lasso (played by actor Jason Sudeikis) returns to bring us up to speed with his progress post-Premiership, all in the name of NBC Sports coverage of the imminent new season.
