SUPER BOWL XLIX: Following on from last year's Ian Up for Whatever Super Bowl spot Bud Light returns with another spot in its #UpForWhatever campaign.
Created by Energy BBDO Chicago and directed by Fredrik Bond an unsuspecting Bud Light drinker gets the chance to play a real-life version of 1980s cult video game, Pac-Man, in front of a crowd of spectators.
To make the ad the brand teamed up with Pac-Man rights-holder Bandai Namco Games and created a maze in central Los Angeles. The beer manufacturer also called on DJ White Shadow to create his own version of the eponymous soundtrack and UFC announcer Bruce Buffer to bring it all together.
Read more about the shoot logistics and campaign premise in an interview with CCO Mark Taylor this Sunday on shots.net.
