Santa Monica and Melbourne-based visual effects studio Luma have announced their expansion beyond blockbuster movies into advertising. The new offering will be headed up by new arrivals; managing director Jay Lichtman and creative director Matt Lydecker, who join co-founder and executive supervisor Payam Shohadai and vice president and VFX supervisor Vince Cirelli at the helm. Some of Luma’s recent high-profile movie projects include Guardians of the Galaxy, Prometheus and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
