Avery Tools up

Australian writer/director Julius Avery has joined bicoastal US production company Tool for commercial representation. Over the last decade Avery has helmed a number of short films which have enjoyed healthy festival runs and claimed the director Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Avery joins the company following his work as writer/director on the 2014 debut feature film Son of a Gun starring Ewan McGregor. The director’s signing comes as Tool continues to bolster its live action department which currently includes Jaci Judelson, Marc Forster and GMUNK.
