Everybody loves a freebie and although stealing maybe be tempting to some, a legal freebie is always best.

This is the inspiration behind adam&eveDDB’s latest campaign for Harvey Nichols - but stealing is definitely not encouraged.

The spot – helmed by Blink directing duo Layzell Bros – is a creative way to launch its loyalty app.

The spot uses real CCTV footage of shoplifters, capturing them sneakily stealing items into bags and being chased out of stores by security guards. Luckily, their faces are disguised by animations to 'protect the guilty.'

 

 

 

Instead, the easiest way to nab a freebie is to register for the new rewards app, which can be used after spending money in store or online. Benefits can range from home styling, gift wrapping and express alterations as well as other complimentary services.
