Calling all Catch Me If You Can fans: the new Powerade ad will appeal to you...

Remember that inspirational speech made by Christopher Walken (who plays Leo's dad in the film) about two mice falling into a bucket of cream? The one where one of the mice drowned and the other worked so hard to escape that he ended up churning the cream into butter and eventually managed to get out?

Well the spot - created by W&K - adopts this image for the latest ad in the  #JustAKid series.

Following the rise and determination of Seattle Seahawks player Jimmy Graham, the minute-long spot inspires kids to follow their dreams by encouraging them to churn that butter.

The campaign, helmed by Daniel Wolfe, follows the success of the first promo unveiled earlier this year, which featured American basketball player Derrick Rose (below).

 

 

The spot follows a similar structure to last week's Guinness ads, which also focussed on the person behind the athlete and featured rugby stars Gareth Thomas and Ashwin Willemse.
