London-based post production and visual effects studio Finish has announced the promotion of senior flame artist and VFX supervisor Steve Murgatroyd, who will head 2D. Murgatroyd joined the company in 2004 and since worked with acclaimed directors such as Rob Leggatt, Guy Manwaring, Simon Ratigan and Ninian Doff. Murgatroyd cut his teeth at The Mill, where he worked on some of the industry’s seminal music videos with Chris Cunningham and Jake Scott for artists including The Eels, U2, Portishead and Madonna.
