The Times and The Sunday Times have partnered to create their first joint brand campaign, bringing to life the quality of the papers' journalism by focussing on several topical subjects affecting the international news agenda.

Created by CHI London and News UK’s in-house agency, Team News, the campaign consists of a powerful 30-second TV and cinema ad featuring a montage of significant headline moments from around the world, the commercial uses the technique of isolating one unexpected sound from each scene, dramatising how The Times and The Sunday Times get to the heart of a story.

The spot was created by Team News’ Andy Peel and Greg Milbourne and CHI's Dan Watts with direction by Ivan Bird through Rattling Stick.
