Fragrance ads normally follow a bore-you-to-tears formula of celebrity plus sultry pose plus a few lines of 'abstract' drivel (recent offenders include Dior 'Sauvage', with Johnny Depp, and Calvin Klein's 'Deep Euphoria', starring Margot Robbie). Thankfully, French fashion house Kenzo has bucked the trend with its latest perfume commercial, a genuinely riveting bit of film.
Directed by Spike Jonze, the four-minute short sees limber-limbed actress Margaret Qualley duck out of a boring dinner party at a swanky hotel to bust some seriously bonkers moves and shoot lasers out of her hands (as you do). And if the dancing's reminiscent of the video to Sia's Chandelier, that's because it comes courtesy of choreographer du jour, Ryan Heffington.
