Young Director Award 2017 Open for Entries

The CFP-E/shots Young Director Award, one of the most prestigious competions in the advertising calendar, has announced that entries for the 2017 Awards are open.

shots has been a proud supporter of the YDA since its inception and this year the YDA is proud to be celebrating 20 years of success. The competition, overseen by CFP-E president, Francois Chilot [below right, with former winner Kibwe Tavares and, left, guest judge director Martin Werner]  has seen scores of dedicated, ambitious and, most of all, talented directors recognised at its flagship award show which is held in Cannes during the week of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Renowned as the most important fringe event at the Lions, the YDA attracts over 500 participants each year and an audience of more than 800 people attend the screening and prize-giving.
