Maxine Peake delivers an intense performance as a woman trapped in a 'hotel of the mind' in this compelling video for Ex:Re.
Directed by PRETTYBIRD's Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the promo sees Peake's character stuck in a loop of booze-fuelled torpor, sprawling across the sheets and raiding the hotel mini-bar as she attempts to get over a failed relationship. The moody colour palette, inspired by Hitchcock's Vertigo, and the ghostly appearance of the band's lead singer inside the TV combine to create a stifling sense of deja vu.
