BMW relaunches its 7 Series model like a luxury jet plane in this atmospheric short film.
In the two-minute film, directed by Dan Di Felice through TP Film, a pilot is seen arriving at a hangar as a storm rumbles ominously in the distance. As the plane taxis out, the control centre crackles into life. It's bad news: due to the weather, permission for take-off has been denied.
But he's not going to let that spoil his fun - hopping into his trusty Beemer, he's soon speeding up the runway, up into the mountains and finally bursting through the clouds. From the lingering shots of the car's leather interior to its rain-lashed curves, this is product porn in the purest sense.
