Alzheimer's is an insidious disease which has touched many families in some way, and this new spot shows its effects in a heart-rending way.
Created by New Commercial Arts London and deftly directed by Academy's Billy Boyd Cape, the 90 seconds spot features an elderly couple going about their day.
"What time shall we leave tomorrow?" Jane asks her husband casually. "About eight," he replies. But later in the day Jane once again asks "What time shall we leave tomorrow?". Lightheartedly, Jane's husband shakes his head and says, again, "eight". On the third time of asking his patience has worn thin, and by the fourth, while in bed that evening, the sad and painful realisation dawns that something isn't quite right with Jane.
