Chelsea FC’s winter warmer

Created in house, and directed by Peter Franklyn Banks through Kode Media, this touching film for Chelsea FC follows a young fan's warm encounters with a host of celebs while wandering the wintery terraces of the Club’s Stamford Bridge home. 

Along with players from the men’s and women’s squad, including Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, he encounters superfans Central Cee and Madness frontman, Suggs, who are all wrapped up in Chelsea’s warmest seasonal wear.

When someone drapes a coat over the chilly lad’s shoulders it turns out to be the legendary Cole Palmer, whose on-pitch calmness has earned him the nickname Cold Palmer. Playing on this the footballer has developed his famous ‘cold’ goal celebration – crossing is arms over his body and rubbing his shoulders. 

The heartwarming spot affirms the Chelsea Foundations collaboration with Chelsea Supporters Trust and Barons Court Project to support those without a home this winter.
