Example's story of love and loss

UK artist Example's new music video explores themes of family, love, loss and of recognising what's most important in life. 

Set to the track Every Single Time, the video is directed by Macario De Souza through Hype Republic and, at the start of the promo, features a young man watching a VHS tape of himself and, it's assumed though not clarified, his sister performing a home video talent show, displaying some nifty dance moves.

As the man closes his eyes, thinking back to the past, the chorus of the song kicks in and his sister appears and the two begin their dance routine in front of the TV. 

Next we move to a diner where a similar scene plays out when the song is played on the radio. Example, starring as the diner's chef, looks on as the lonely young man once again dances along with the apparition of his missing sister in another display of joyous dance.
