Humankind will never be the same after SEGA’s done with it.
First, Lucy Adams is a neanderthal, and then a conqueror of Rome. Lucy’s journey through Humankind is long and storied, and as she progresses through the eons of human development, we see how, in every iteration, she becomes a deliberate futurist. It makes sense then that she invents rock and roll and abolishes the concept of “money.” With clever storytelling and fun scenes, the trailer pushes the boundaries on how a single person can affect the world.
Tailoring an ad about all of human history, with all its varied possibilities, fell to ad agency BETC. Tapping Solab and French director Romain Chassaing, who's repped by BOLD in the UK and who has a reel of experience working with VFX-heavy ads. With help from post studio Mathematic, the film makes use of clever cuts and transitions that show off his style for high-octane impact and over-the-top CGI.
