It's well established that gender-based verbal attacks tend to be passed on from generations, who see them as 'victimless' actions and 'harmless' locker-room talk.
Drawing attention, and hopefully putting an end, to such moments is this powerfully simple campaign from HelloFCB+ for the City of Cape Town, featuring three spots: My First Touch, My First Joke and My First Catcall.
Within each scenario, male kids are seen reenacting or reciting things they've learnt from men they look up to, with the repercussions of the 'innocent' acts brought into sharp focus through strong performances, brought out by Carbon Films director Jason Fialkov.
