Few media events have as high a level of anticipation as the final season of Game Of Thrones.
However, due to the brutal way the showrunners choose to off favourite characters at a moment's notice, it's also likely to cause spoiler anguish amongst fans, with those having seen the episode first being able to fire out revelations like plot bullets, straight into the recipients' awaiting earholes.
It's with this in mind that DDB Mudra Group have created this Spoilers campaign for Hotstar Premium. Showing that customers of the service will have the power of spoilers in their hands (due to the show being simulcast at the same time as the US), the series of hilarious spots show various ways in which you could ruin the day of a fellow fan. So, unlike Jon Snow, you'll know everything!
Quoting on the campaign, Rahul Mathew, National Creative Director, DDB Mudra Group said, “For a manically followed show like Game of Thrones, spoilers as an idea is both insightful and creatively fertile. Then it was just a matter of bringing the idea to life in the most entertaining manner.”
The spots are joined by an outdoor campaign carrying the same 'the first to the throne owns the spoilers' insight.
