The 'junk sleep' campaign kicked off last year, explaining to people the dangers of trying to sleep in a bed that isn't right for you, with Liev Schreiber's gravely, deadpan delivery outlining what junk sleep is and how it can affect your life.
In this new 30-second spot, again created by Droga5 New York and, this time, directed by PRETTYBIRD's Tom Noakes, a woman who is delirious from a lack of sleep makes some bad life decisions while eating in a diner.
“Our Junk Sleep campaign challenges the conventions of modern sleep culture by shining a light on how poor sleep affects us both mentally and physically," said Sam Bennett, SVP, Marketing and Brand Strategy at Mattress Firm. "We hope Americans start making their sleep a priority and that our commercials help jump start that journey for them (while getting a little laugh while watching).”
