Created by Publicis Luxe and helmed by Oscar-winning director Chazelle (Whiplash, Babylon, La La Land) through La Pac and Superprime, this new campaign for Lancôme sees La Roberts have a wardrobe and destination rethink while en route to a cocktail do.
Ultimately, eschewing the frippery of a puffy frock and tiresome party chat, Roberts instead enjoys a bit of me time gazing at a sublime Parisienne vista from the roof of the Arc de Triomphe.
Publicis ECDs Marie-Eve Schoettl and David Soussan commented: “Julia Roberts is a role model for so many women in the world, because she has always followed her own path. It was really rewarding to see her and Damien Chazelle create this piece of comedy, having fun in a set-designed elevator, running on Parisian roofs and bathed in the sunset on top of the Arc de Triomphe. A dream team in the dreamiest of all cities."
