The video for the new single Hate co-directed by Loyle Carner himself, alongside Greg Hackett, is charged with the fury and sense of confusion Carner has experienced as a black, British man in the 21st Century.
Produced by Spindle, the film was shot at a London race track, and gives the illusion of a 'one-shot' video but was created with four different types of camera work – motion control, hand-held, slider and a pursuit vehicle. It also makes good use of body doubles and VFX, courtesy of No8.
