Super Bowl advertising can sometimes be a bit 'first draft' when it comes to its celebrity involvement - get a famous face with a name that sounds a bit like the stuff you're selling, and bingo!
However, we don't know what the creative team at Goodby Silverstein and Partners were imbibing when they came up with the concept for Mountain Dew's Big Game spot Kiss From A Lime, in which legendary singer/songwriter Seal takes on the look of his aquatic mammal namesake to belt out a reworked rendition of '94's Kiss From A Rose.
Also starring Becky G (though the wind is soon taken out of her 'cameo' sail), the film utilises Hungry Man director Taika Waititi's unique eye for the sublimely surreal; the delightful lyrics punctuated by a stand-out shark evasion.
