Panthalassa & director Andreas Roth have launched the official teaser for the film "Sea Legend“. In breathtaking images a Basque fisherman tells the epic story of a mysterious and unique creature from the sea. The shortfilm has been created for the NGO Oceana and has the mission to create awareness about an endangered sea creature that will be revealed at the film premiere, during the San Sebastian Film Festival.
The trailer is packed in a wonderful web special designed by Salon91. The task was to create a suitable digital stage on which the teaser is presented online. "We wanted a website that reflected the mood of the film. Quiet cinematic images with a touch of excitement and drama," says Sergio Penzo, creative director of Panthalassa. For this purpose, only a few expressive images from the film were used to make a one pager to which some animation was added.
The project is supported by celebrities such as Ted Danson & Ridley Scott. “Sea Legend is a powerful and mature piece of filmmaking.”
