Created for Planters by BBDO Minneapolis, the Duo-licious campaign drolly communicates the pairing of two nuts, by introducing two nuts who appear every time someone pours a handful of the new snack.
The music video-esque extended spot was directed by comedy director Clay Weiner through Biscuit Films and sees the camp twosome deliver their ‘flavour harmony’ in various inappropriate locations, from a playground slide to the middle of a swimming pool.
To produce the catchy track at the heart of the campaign, BBDO partnered with Squeak E. Clean who created a mellifluous – if cheesy – R&B-inspired groove.
