This new campaign for Royal Ontario Museum is a powerful film about the horrors and uncertainty of Auschwitz.

Created by Broken Heart Love Affair Toronto and directed by Jeremi Durand through Skin + Bones, the 100-second filmfeatures a re-reading of a real letter written by someone held at the infamous camp, and promotes the museum's exhibition, which runs to September 1st.

Robert 'Bob' Hanf who, in 1944, wrote to his family about his journey to and time at Auschwitz, spoke of the crowds, the treatment and the diminishing lack of freedom he experienced. At the time, all communication was censored so the
outside world would not know what was really happening in the camps. Knowing what we now know, the final words from his letter are all the more chilling; “What will be the end?”

"I feel incredibly honoured to have been a part of this special project," said Durand.
