Sainsbury’s long-awaited, light-hearted Christmas campaign, directed by Tim Godsall through Anonymous Content, immerses us in an imaginary medieval world.
When The Countess, played by actress Alison Hammond, announces that she ‘never really liked Christmas pud’, the divisive dessert is strictly off the menu at the castle’s Christmas feast- that is, until a nervous young cook takes on the challenge to rewrite the recipe and change her mind.
With a heartwarming voiceover from Stephen Fry and a playful ‘bardcore’ version of the Wheatus classic, Teenage Dirtbag, W+K London's Once Upon a Pud celebrates the innovation and creativity of the supermarket’s Taste the Difference Christmas range.
