The New York Times has launched a new campaign that highlights some of the 1,700+ Times journalists who have dedicated their lives to helping people understand the world through their coverage.
The campaign, called The Truth Takes a Journalist, was created by Droga5 New York and directed by Camille Summers-Valli through Somesuch US, and shows that behind every article in The New York Times, there is a human; a journalist with a heart and a mind who is dedicated to reporting that not only provides facts but impacts lives.
The film uses archive footage, shot by and featuring more than 30 Times journalists, and is an invitation into a world unseen, a colourful introspection into who these journalists are, and what makes them tick.
