TK Maxx's embracing of the breadth (and oddity) of the goods it sells has made for some seriously entertaining commercials, and in this, it's festive offering, the brand may have found it's perfect mascot.
Featuring 'TK' a generously moustached daredevil gifter, Wieden+Kennedy London's Gift Different throws off the shackles of conventional Christmas present shopping and instead inspires us to go off piste (in this case, literally) with our goodie ideas.
Shot with cheeky aplomb by Somesuch’s Sam Hibbard, the spot's cartoonish style and grandiose soundtrack (a genius choice of Ravel’s Boléro, famous for accompanying Torvill and Dean’s iconic figure skating performance in the 1984 Olympics) makes for a standout execution.
