Tomorrow expands team with new head of production and CFO
Brynne Copping and Rob Baunoch III join the Tomorrow team.
Bicoastal production company Tomorrow welcomes Brynne Copping as Head of Production and Rob Baunoch III as Chief Financial Officer, signaling a significant period of expansion for the year-old company.
Copping hails from Kansas City where her mother’s background in acting sparked her early interest in film. She joined the Independent Filmmakers Coalition at the age of 16 and went on to graduate from LMU with a degree in film production. Brynne has worked her way through production roles at companies including Uber Content and Humble. Most recently Brynne worked as a Bidding Producer at SMUGGLER.
“Andrew and Chris are making real steps towards their vision of the new production company model - which focuses on inclusivity, diversity and positivity. So not only am I excited to be a part of a growing company, but I am thrilled to help mold some of these new programs and initiatives that we’ll be rolling out in the near future,” says Copping.
Baunoch brings his multifaceted experience to Tomorrow, a diverse background that includes roles in production, writing, media, and accounting. After graduating from NYU and later receiving his MBA in his home state of Wisconsin, Rob got his first job as a staff accountant in New York. He quickly became involved in producing and consulting for film, television, media, and theatre. Rob was on the Broadway producing team for Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812, which was nominated for 12 Tony Awards in 2017.7
Says Baunoch, “I am thrilled to join Tomorrow. I was blown away by their dynamic, inspiring work with such a plethora of innovative directors; all with their own visionary style. But it was their value system that really spoke to me.”
Says co-founder Chris Zander, “In a few short weeks, Brynne and RB3 have made Tomorrow a better company with their fresh thinking, unique skill sets, and unparalleled optimism. Brynne is a rising star in our industry - she’s smart, dynamic, well respected, and very tall. She’s already brought her impeccable taste level and wicked organizational skills to our business. As an added bonus, she has a dog named Lucy that I’m slightly obsessed with. Rob is like Tomorrow’s Swiss Army Knife: he’s transformed our financial systems while pinch-hitting wherever we’ve needed him. As usual, there is excitement here for the future, but that excitement has gone to another level. I couldn’t be happier.”
