A young woman takes a ride fantastic through the New York City subway system as the world is transformed by art effects and animation.
As she waits for her stop, the train, and its inhabitants, transform. Flowers replace the floor, advertisements jump down in Keith Haring-like animations, and cartoons replace commuters. The young woman watches as the train passes through crowds and leviathans, smiling as the subway stops populate with pigeons in business suits and buskers made of their own instruments.
Deliberate and fun, Mathematic’s animation of Take a Fantastic Voyage is stellar and eyecatching, taking fresh interpretations of city life and turning it into something brilliant. Directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet and produced by Partizan, the promo is a journey into the familiar and the unknown.
