As a married woman enjoys her healthy lifestyle, complete with her broccoli-head husband, she dreams about a scandalous tryst with the hunky peppermint next door. 

Tucked is animated like panels of an old-school cartoon, following a young woman (who is almost a Katy Perry look-alike) as she goes about her day while she spends her nights fantasizing about the candy neighbor. When she gets caught in bed with the bonbon by her husband, instead of the two men fighting it out, they make out, and health food gets a whole new meaning. Intercut between the absurd are exceptionally cheeky constellations that move, hump, and ride in the sky, watching over the menage a tableau.

 With offset colors, newsprint fills, and bold outlines, the production out of Partizan is stellar, creating a strange world where even the sexy sweet next door is enticing. Directed by Hoku & Adam, Tucked is just bizarre enough to keep our attention while constantly pushing the boundaries of taste.
