No-one wants to endure a hefty shopping visit after a long journey... particularly if that journey has taken you from infinity and beyond!
For their first in-game Super Bowl spot, Walmart are revisiting the concept of their hugely enjoyable Famous Cars ad from last year and, rather than looking at wheeled wonders, turn their heads to the skies.
In Famous Visitors, we see the likes of Bill S. Preston Esq. (from Bill and Ted), Buzz Lightyear, Groot, Marvin the Martian and even Flash Gordon (though shockingly lacking Brian Blessed as Prince Vultan) speed, beam and apparate into the forecourt of a busy store to pick up their pre-bagged groceries.
Cramming the screen with fan-delighting pop-culture moments - including an extra surprises in the extended version shown above - Publicis Groupe/Dept W and Hungry Man's Wayne McClammy have perfectly mixed the ingredients for a crowd-pleasing Big Game break-time treat.
