Balkind bumps up Almeida

Creative marketing agency Bemis Balkind of LA has promoted Jeffrey Almeida to VP, account services. Almeida was a senior producer in the motion graphics department of Drissi Multimedia, overseeing the design of hundreds of DVD and HD DVD menus; he was the winner of a silver BDA North America Award for the DVD Menu Design of Dawn of the Dead for Universal. Almedia joined Bemis in 2008 as account executive and was charged to help run the newly re-established Home Entertainment department and to oversee Account Services for clients including Universal, Fox, Paramount, Anchor Bay and DreamWorks.
