Chanel: Reincarnation

Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld takes the reins to direct this musical branded short for the fashion designer.

Featuring Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne, the elegant film takes us to the scene within a hotel lobby and tells the tale of the house's founder, Gabrielle Chanel - played by Géraldine Chaplin - and her inspiration for the jacket that has become synonymous with the brand, as worn by Williams.

The dreamlike sequence is carried by the track CC The World, also written especially for the piece by Williams, a friend of the house and designer, and the film was created to accompany the CHANEL Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d'art collection shown on 2 December 2014 in Salzburg.
