American indie rock band Joywave audition a new member in this amusing promo, shot by Philip Andelman.
Produced by Partizan, the funny video sees the band losing faith while looking for a new member until a generation one MP3 player turns up. In true Spinal Tap fashion, the band reach the dizzying heights of fame only to realise it’s a long way down when you fall.
Shot in a mockumentary style the video follows all the amusing tropes and clichés of a good rockumetary including band divisions caused by drugs, drink and groupies.
